I encounter as a type 2 diabetes that caloric intake from anything that converts to sugars ( carbs ) make me hungry as it increase my insulin resistance , also not All people are same …I lower my sugars and my hunger from avoiding all carbs and proceed food products eat all the rest with an eye not to exceed the 1200cal daily or less if you are not hungry I don’t eat! Not thirsty don’t drink!

  2. Yes, everybody is probably different in this regard. To me, reducing blood sugar requires reducing weight. It doesn’t matter if I eat carbs or not so long as my caloric intake is reduced enough to lose weight. If I lose weight, my blood sugar goes down. However, just carb control does not help me lose weight – or control my appetite.
