A few early bloomers in my neighborhood

Most cherry blossoms are not predicted to bloom until March 22nd though. The earliest on record. Every year they bloom earlier and earlier. When I first came to Japan they didn’t bloom until the first week of April.

Mt. Fuji this morning, from Hachioji

Butterfly on the way to the station

While walking through Seseragi Park on the way to Shinkoiwa station. It just landed in front of me on a flower. We hung around a bit until a car noise startled it at the end.
