Yesterday I had a fun birthday lunch get-together with Satoh-san, Dennis, and Hirokazu at Sizzler’s by the Tokyo Dome in Suidobashi. The Giants were playing and it was pretty crowded between the station and the restaurant, but people were all wearing masks.

It was the first time for me to eat out this year!

Here are a few photos, including my healthy whole food plant based compliant lunch (vegan and no oils). I had some fruit for dessert.

Dennis also brought me some homemade, extremely delicious Japanese sweet potatoes he made in his Insta-pot. It makes me want to try using my Insta-pot, which I got over two years ago and haven’t turned on yet!
