What this article means, in essence, is that Obama’s donors are largely ordinary people and he can campaign where he raises money.
But Romney doesn’t have the same level of support from ordinary people that Obama has. So while Romney has to campaign to win their votes, he has to slink off to rich enclaves and waste time there raising money.
And even so, Obama has the financial advantage now, in addition to the popular advantage.
My advice for Romney: A nice, long whistle-stop train tour through the mid-west and western states. 🙂
