Toxic plutonium seeping from Japan’s nuclear plant — 2 Comments
I’m not positive based on what I’ve seen that the Plutonium found so far necessarily came from the plant. The Russians conducted a LOT of nuclear tests upwind of Japan in the 50s & 60s, and some plutonium entered the soil at that time. I suspect some Plutonium has been getting out, but it’s not clear they have evidence of it yet. Given what a heavy atom it is, might be more likely to show up in the waste water — clear sign will be if they find it in the ocean.
It seems to be getting worse. We all need to learn from the disaster. Be well. love, M&M
