Rather large earthquake just now

There was a surprisingly large earthquake just a few minutes ago. No damage in my house. It was a Shindo 5- out of 7 centered in southern Ibaraki. It was Shindo 4 here in Tokyo. The magnitude was 5.6.

Big earthquake just woke me up

Epicenter right near Tokyo. Maybe in the Izu peninsula. Shindo 5- out of 7 and magnitude 6.2. Back to sleep. Things ok at my house. Scary one though. Tired, only been asleep 2 hours.
