Blood test update – things still going great
I do blood tests twice a year now. As you can see in my record chart, things continue to go well, even though I completely gave up statins over 18 months ago. In fact, after a slight blip up, my cholesterol dropped over time back to what it was when taking statins.
I was a bit surprised to see that my blood sugar, HbA1c, actually went down to 4.8 considering my regular partaking of fruits. (I eat whole food plant based – see https://lerner.net/december-2022-biannual-health-test-results-whole-food-plant-based-still-the-way-to-go/).
And my blood pressure remains great.
I’m a bit – not worried – but thinking every day about my weight. It’s the same as a year ago – about 154 lb – but up from my lowest-ever weight. I guess it’s not important. I’m not overweight. Even regular L-sized shirts are loose on me. But I wouldn’t mind losing another 10 lb. (Yes, I know, I used to make fun of people who said, “I wish I could lose 10 more lb”). 🙂
Anyway, onward!
