I wasn’t sure I wanted to go for my bicycle ride this evening. It was raining all day and I was feeling a bit lazy. Then the rains stopped for a while and I dashed out and did some grocery shopping. The skies still looked threatening.

When I got home, the skies seemed to clear a bit. I wasn’t able to go cycling yesterday so fought off my lethargy and decided I really should go today.

When I got to the river I glanced up at the sky and gasped. A beautiful rainbow had opened up just before me.  I rode along, and after a short time a spectacular sunset lit up the sky.

I felt energized and glided over hills that are usually difficult for me. It was almost spiritual.
