Pao the Puppy Contest — 4 Comments

  1. I’m so happy you are adding a dog to your family! Please share more info about Pao and how you found him. How many brothers and sisters does he have? Do they look alike? Nice looking mom.

I’m guessing 19 kg, because he looks pretty big for less than a month old. Or are you just so small now?

  2. Hi Sally! My neighbor across from me has a friend, and her friend has a niece, and that niece owns the mother dog.

There were six puppies in all, two males and two females. Half are on the brown side and half are on the black side. I’ll post an album later.

My neighbor and I drove quite a ways into Chiba prefecture to see them last Saturday.

The photo where he looks big is a selfie, and the camera angle is low. I am thinking he is not really that big. But we shall see! I’m recording your guess!

And yes, I am smaller. 🙂

My neighbor across the way is taking one of the females. And the neighbor to the left of me is taking another of the females, so three brothers and sisters are going to be living next-door to each other in our small cul-de-sac here.

  3. It’s great that Pao will have puppies close by to play with as he grows up! That’s good since he left his mom rather early. Mine girls came home older than two months and weighed well over ten pounds. Their parents were larger than Pao’s mom, but who knows about mystery dad. Pao is adorably tiny! He’s lucky that you work at home and can be with him while he’s growing up. Thanks for the photos.

  4. There were 6 in the litter, two males and four females. My neighbor across from me took over and the neighbor to my left took another. So we have three siblings living next door to each other.

I’ll post a picture of all 6 so you can see.
