Here in Shinkoiwa it’s been quite “quaky” all night and this morning
All night I kept on getting woken up by short but very “jerky” small earthquakes.
I checked http://tenki.jp/earthquake/ and since midnight (it’s currently 10:00 am Saturday) there have been 17 earthquakes. Most have been small, like in the magnitude 2.6 ~ 4 range. There have been 4 quakes greater than magnitude 4.0: 4.5, 4.8, 4.3 and one at 8:35 that was magnitude 6.2. That was the most obvious one, and shook my computer monitor, etc. (See map showing the range of that one). I wonder if most people in Tokyo can feel these smaller ones like I do. My house is in Shinkoiwa, which is on the far eastern side of Tokyo, near Chiba prefecture.doug
