Mon has started laying eggs again. Unfortunately, when this happens Monta tends to be very selfish over the nest, even though there are two nests! So I found it best to separate them during her egg laying period, for a week to 10 days.

That way Mon can lay her eggs, and relax in the nest as she likes. Monta’s separate cage is somewhat smaller, but he has his swing and his millet and indoor ofuro and everything he likes to play with in there.
