Meanwhile Mon is watching the 4 eggs she’s laid so far this month. I’ll “candle” them on the 17th to see if there are any buns in the oven.

He’s a cutie!
If there were any “buns” they would be cuddling all the time, and taking turns on the nest. Did Monta HELP her make the nest?

I bought the nest, so neither of them made it. They have never “cuddled” so far as I have seen. Monta does go inside and sit on the eggs sometimes though.
Well, chances are probably overwhelming that the eggs are not fertilized, but I’ll check carefully around the 17th or so (10 days after the first egg was laid) to see if I can see anything.
