Weight Watchers new Points Plus formula

In November 2010, Weight Watchers announced that its Points system was being replaced by a new PointsPlus system. The old system was based on a calculation based on calories, fat, and fiber content. The new PointsPlus system is based on protein, carbohydrates, fat and fiber.

ProPoints

where all input units are grams. This formula is an empirical[11] match to the Weight Watchers calculators and may not be exact; Weight Watchers has not published their actual formula.

  1. that is the propoints formula but the points plus is a little different because the packaging is different. try wikipedia. it is listed on there

  2. Thanks. I’ve updated the post. I was wondering why the Points Plus fiber term was positive since fiber is supposed to reduce points. And I can see in the WIkipedia version it is negative. Though it’s still positive in the ProPoints version.
