Cycling along the Nakagawa

This video was taken earlier today while cycling along the Nakagawa, a river near my house in Katsushika, Tokyo. I guess taking a movie while cycling isn’t the safest thing to do, but I did slow down.

Across the bridge, on the other side of the river, is Aoto.

On the way back, just before the end of the movie, you can see the Sky Tree in the distance.

Curried mixed veggies over soba

It really tastes pretty good. It’s just a 200 g pack of frozen mixed vegetables boiled in a shallow pan of water with curry powder. Boil until the water is mostly gone and you’re left with a flavorful “sauce” to pour over the soba.
